“Welcome To New York”: A Subsidiary of Hell

Boom…Boom…Boom, the song opens with a dramatic bassline and then fires out some 80’s synth goodness. Taylor Swift released “Welcome To New York” on iTunes, technically today, for the countdown to 1989. During an interview, Swift said of the song, “I wanted to start the album with this song…I dreamt about moving to New York, I obsessed about moving to New York, and then I did it.” Did she do the Big Apple justice, or did she just make a doo-doo mess all over everything?

50 Shades of Trade: Pharrell

The Gay in Real Life (G I R L) singer is releasing a brand of macarons, but only in Paris. When asked for a comment Mr. Williams told MTV-News, “I was inspired to craft confectionary gems while working with Gwen [Stefani]. She told me, she said ‘AYO Pharrell, we’re like chefs making donuts and pastries in this studio. You should totally actually make cookies’, and so I did. I love the D.” This is the gayest thing I have heard today. So far. Okay, I lied. But still! Macarons?! Really?! I bet they’re delicious, just like my mocha prince, Pharrell. So there you have it.
