“Welcome To New York”: A Subsidiary of Hell

Boom…Boom…Boom, the song opens with a dramatic bassline and then fires out some 80’s synth goodness. Taylor Swift released “Welcome To New York” on iTunes, technically today, for the countdown to 1989. During an interview, Swift said of the song, “I wanted to start the album with this song…I dreamt about moving to New York, I obsessed about moving to New York, and then I did it.” Did she do the Big Apple justice, or did she just make a doo-doo mess all over everything?
50 Shades of Trade: Pharrell

The Gay in Real Life (G I R L) singer is releasing a brand of macarons, but only in Paris. When asked for a comment Mr. Williams told MTV-News, “I was inspired to craft confectionary gems while working with Gwen [Stefani]. She told me, she said ‘AYO Pharrell, we’re like chefs making donuts and pastries in this studio. You should totally actually make cookies’, and so I did. I love the D.” This is the gayest thing I have heard today. So far. Okay, I lied. But still! Macarons?! Really?! I bet they’re delicious, just like my mocha prince, Pharrell. So there you have it.

5 Times Selena Gomez Was Everything

If you don’t know by now, I am unabashedly here for a one, Ms. Selena Gomez. From her first “solo” release with The Scene (Ms. Rockthang), she had me jumping on my bed and singing into a hairbrush. Don’t judge until after you learn why she is a pop Duchess. The five times Selena Gomez was amazing…
Premiere: Gwen Returns With…

A tribal inspired mid tempo pop gem known as “Baby Don’t Lie”. This song is giving me Nelly Furtado “All Good Things…Come To An End” realness with its infectious beat and catchy chorus. This is Gwen’s first release since 2006’s The Sweet Escape, and I must say that I am here for it.

Scottish DJ and snubber extraordinaire, Calvin Harris, will release his fourth studio album, Motion, on November 4th. Jam Sesh
I like to stay pretty current with the musical haps, and because of that I am usually listening to some pretty dope jams. For a minute, I was posting songs that I found myself obsessively listening to that week, on Facebook. I have commitment issues, so that didn’t go on for long… But, I’m back and fresher than ever, so quench your thirsts. Continue reading
