Today we lost a legend, but what remains is a legacy. As celebrities react to David Bowie‘s untimely death at the hands of cancer, it is certainly clear that the world lost a great talent which cannot be replaced. He was an eclectic talent who inspired countless people to be themselves; a contribution like that is invaluable to the children who always felt out of place in our conformist-or-bust society. His passing comes way too soon, but as an artist passes, his work becomes consumed more than ever. Now, he has the opportunity to inspire a whole new generation as his work will most certainly see a surge in popularity again. See who had what to say after the jump…

For those of you who don’t know, which appears to be most of you (shame!!!), a maaayyyjor album was released back on September 25th, 2015. The album in question: dumblonde by dumblonde. “What is a dumblonde?”, some of you will probably ask. Well, you stupid bitches, it is a supremely underrated dance act formed by Shannon Bex and Aubrey O’Day (Aubrey, don’t get mad that Shannon’s name is first).

In today’s fickle industry, artists release what they call “buzz singles”. What that means is that they either don’t have enough confidence in their release, or the single they thought they were confident in flopped. It’s a pretty good PR move, but I’m over here like “girl, I see you”. In a galaxy far far away, the shade reaches far and wide and no one is safe from the trolls. Iggy Azalea is the most recent artist to do just this, and….

As Adele keeps breaking records into 2016, DJs around the world have taken it upon themselves to take 25 to the club. One of the best tracks from the album got a little makeover from DJ Bling, a Los Angeles based DJ, and it is great.

It’s no secret that Tinashe‘s brand of yas is quite potent. As she is gearing up to release her sophomore album, Joyride, we are treated to a dope remix of the single “Player”. So you better keep up, playerzzzz, cause tonight is a game changer.
She’s old, she’s mean, and she’s in the business of making Stars. She is from Old Hollywood, and a time where everyone smoked, cursed, and said what was on their mind. She’s not here to do anyone any favors and she certainly doesn’t have time for anyone’s shit. She’s pushing 90, but she has worked every day of her life. When she isn’t managing her A-list clients, you can find her at the bingo hall or passed out drunk behind Mickey’s. Before you know it, she’ll make her way into your heart.
Eric Prydz just went and done it y’all. His new track, “Breathe” featuring Rob Swire of Knife Party, is giving me life.

Christina Aguilera
It’s no secret that diva siren Christina Aguilera has not been the poster child for commercial success, especially in more recent years. Bionic underwhelmed by only cumulatively selling 330,000 units, and Lotus fared even worse, selling 290,000 units. She do be lookin’ all types of good on The Voice doe… But! What if she had reversed the order in which she released her projects? Would there be a different pop playing field today, one where Christina is heralded as a titanic commercial force?
