Sleeper Hit: Sia – Big Girls Cry

Sia, 1000 forms of fear

Sia‘s 1000 Forms of Fear was released over the summer, and for some reason a few songs from the epic have flown under my radar…

“Big Girls Cry” has been my jam for the past week, and I am actually kind of mad I didn’t get into it when the album was released back in July… This is definitely Sia’s best album yet, in my opinion, which is always right…

I may cry ruining my make up/ Wash away all things you’ve taken/ I don’t care if I don’t look pretty/ Big girls cry when their hearts are breaking

Whew! Talk about visceral… The delivery is classic Sia. Deep, throbbing, emotional, and powerful. This song has got me feeling all types of ways and I am okay with it.

Meanwhile, I saw some lady at the grocery store the other day with a Sia haircut and about died. In an interview she did over the summer, Sia mentioned being able to go to Target, unrecognized, because she hasn’t allowed people to photograph her. I think it is a novel idea, especially for people with anxiety. Most people be too lazy to google they ass.

This album is going to be revisited by me ASAP. Free the animal below.
