Since premiering this October, American Horror Story: Freak Show has generated a large interest into the origins of the characters portrayed. Facebook has been abuzz with articles detailing the real life inspiration for many of the characters we see in the series. The one that really caught my eye was the character Pepper, and the inspiration behind her.

I found this clip while perusing Facebook and thought it was very interesting, even a little cathartic. It has obviously been remastered and is great quality, surviving it’s 1932 production date. The movie in question is called “Freaks”, and caused quite the controversy in its time, especially in Europe. Take a look for yourself!

Basically, I’m hilarious.
